Ozark Trail’s tents are contract manufactured by a number of companies and they are designed for recreational camping. These tents are made of sturdy construction and quality materials. There are several models to choose from and they are reasonably priced. Setting up an Ozark Trail tent is relatively easy and only takes 5 to 10 minutes.
How to Set Up an Ozark Trail Tent
The items you will need to prepare include the tent, tent accessories and a hammer.
Step 1
Choose a flat surface to set up your tent. Be clear of debris and rocks on the ground, as their sharp surfaces can puncture your tent.
Step 2
Open the tent bag and remove the tent and accessories. Put the accessories in a separate area and make sure all the parts are present. Unfold your tent and orient the door so that it faces away from high winds and direct sunlight.
Step 3
Assemble the tent poles by placing the metal tubular connectors into the nylon sections. Tap the stakes into the fabric loops in the middle of each corner and each side of the tent.
Step 4
Bend the poles into an arch and place the tent poles into the pin rings to secure them to the corners of the ground tent. Attach the clips to the tent poles to form the tent shape. Be careful not to bend the poles too much to avoid breaking them.
Step 5
Hammer the stakes into the ground.
Step 6
Pick up the rainfly and slide the poles over the door cover. You may need a helper to hold the pole as you place the rain fly over the tent. Tie each of the four corners of the rainfly to the corresponding corner of the tent.
